Force & Motion Control (FMC) is seeking a global-minded and dynamic leader with strong commercial skills, business acumen, data analytics and a proven track record of driving and implementing pricing and other commercial growth strategies that yield margin improvements to serve as Strategic Pricing Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation of tactical, strategic, and operational margin and commercial growth. You will help deliver price realization and enable market share expansion for the Force & Motion Control business through market relevant pricing and other strategic opportunities. This role will also be responsible for defining, resourcing, and implementing new margin management tools and processes for new and existing products and services, leveraging systems to collect the right data, monitor and share information with the leadership, commercial and product teams. Core Responsibilities:• Identify and lead pricing improvement activities including hands-on data analysis, price strategy, margin improvement, price effectiveness and capability needs of the organization.• Develop and implement commercial growth programs for strategic accounts and distribution partners.• Automate and streamline quote to order process across sites, engineering and commercial teams.• Create and manage central pricing library for quotations, analytics and contracts.• Proactively create and execute timelines and milestones for commercial contracts driving commercial leadership and revenue growth.• Review and execute commercial contracts in partnership with commercial leadership, finance, and operation teams.• Attract, develop, and retain qualified, talented people, creating and sustaining a high-performance culture. Organize the pricing function to execute and deliver results on a consistent basis - the right way, every day.• Work closely with the business to identify, measure and implement margin management realization actions.• Provide input and expertise on building revenue and expanding margin strategies that yield the outcomes desired.• Support development and implementation of solutions designed to deliver process productivity and/or analytical capabilities across the business.• Gather and analyze data on how customers use and value our products and/or services.• Develop and execute pricing models for new and existing offerings based on the value delivered to the customer and that are market competitive.• Manage total pricing procedures, enhance processes to make the most of efficiencies and ensure timely response to market conditions.• Perform financial evaluation to assess pricing action effectiveness.• Work collaboratively with Product Management to establish SKU and Customer rationalization actions in-line with associated pricing, order minimum, and inventory-related requirements.• Aggregate, manage and analyze transactional pricing data for insights into customer purchasing behaviors. Measure the effectiveness of the pricing processes and discount management across the business. Validate the effectiveness of comprehensive pricing strategies.• Document best practices as part of Margin Management Excellence and educate the organization on proper tool usage.• Manage the price volume trade-off of current offerings by maintaining knowledge of how the value proposition changes over time, setting prices accordingly and issuing value communication to the channel.• Leverage established pricing methodologies and lean fundamentals for planning, problem-solving and driving continuous improvement.• Perform business analysis, market analysis, and support managerial decision making.• Work together with Product Managers and Sales Leaders to ensure alignment of pricing and product line strategies.• In alignment with the Company Core Values, effectively work with peers to enhance the performance of the function while promoting and embracing the “One Team, One Company, One Barnes” philosophy.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in pricing, deal management, program management, contract review or analytics, with hands-on data visualization expertise.Minimum of 5 years of experience of effectively leading remote, hybrid and onsite teamsA proven track record of implementing and successfully executing programs in a global businessViews problems from a total business perspective, considering economic opportunity, required investment, risks and anticipated paybacks.Strong business acumen and ability to think strategically with demonstrated accomplishments.Knowledge of PowerBI, M3 and JBA ERP systems a plus.Excellent communication skills –able to convey complex concepts to technical and business teams in a simple and understandable way.Up to 35% domestic and international travel required.Ability to influence and hold accountable team members to ensure actions are implemented and realized.Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related discipline.
