personal care needs at the center of everything they do.DescriptionCollaborate with the Senior Director to craft and implement the strategic plan for Canadian business, ensuring alignment with local market dynamics in the brick & mortar and E-commerce space.Analyze Canadian consumer trends and portfolio performance, using insights to drive in-market activation of our base brands and new product launches.Analyze marketing and media tactics being deployed in the Canadian marketplace to determine ROI/ROAS to ensure proper iteration of future tactics that drive optimal efficiency and effectiveness.Foster cross-functional collaboration with R&I, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Market Research, Sales, and Finance to enhance product campaigns, claims, and delivery and validate financial assumptions within the Canadian context.Conduct detailed business analyses to understand brand performance within Canada, identifying key drivers and competitive insights. Communicate these findings across the company to inform decision-making.Lead the creation and execution of annual marketing plans that resonate with Canadian values and meet financial objectives. Coordinate with agencies and internal teams to implement robust activation programs, including digital/social media strategies, PR, and local market-specific initiatives.Manage and be accountable for marketing expenditures, ensuring effective budget utilization per Canadian market norms.Work closely with sales and go-to-market teams to develop strategies that appeal to Canadian retail environments, including compelling sales narratives and presentations.ProfileBachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred.5+ years of experience in brand management and exposure to the Canadian consumer products sector is a must.Background in Skincare, Personal Care, or Beauty/Cosmetics is beneficial, particularly within the Canadian context.Experience working with consumer research teams to develop insights relevant to the Canadian market.Experience with Nielsen is a plus.Proven track record in developing integrated marketing strategies and executing complex programs, focusing on digital and sustainable practices.Budget management experience, preferably in a Canadian business setting.Experience in leading diverse teams (cross-functional, cross-geography, and external agencies) within Canada.Proven strategic and analytical abilities, with a strong understanding of the Canadian market, including its unique media landscape.Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse Canadian audiences and navigate the local media environment.Results-driven, analytical, and collaborative team player with an entrepreneurial mindset, keen on driving growth in the Canadian market.Ability to navigate complexity, work collaboratively, and adapt to the fast-paced, diverse Canadian business landscape, including coordination with global teams.
