Virginia Beach, VA .Required Skills and Experience:Ability to code in Python and leverage a variety of data analysis packages to include Pandas and/or Polars.Experience working with distributed computing frameworks like Spark, data engineering technologies like Airflow, and a broad familiarity with contemporary database options.Experience visualizing results from Exploratory Data Analysis and presenting findings to a customer.Experience working with a software development team, software engineering best practices, and applying the results from a data science project to lightweight applications.Experience developing machine learning models from inception and design, training, and testing, and through deployment.Extensive knowledge of appropriate analytic methods and methodological tools in one or more of the following areas:
Applied Mathematics (e.g., probability and statistics, formal modeling, computational social sciences)Computer Programming (e.g., programming languages, math/statistics packages, computer science, machine learning, scientific computing)Visualization (e.g., GIS/geospatial analysis, telemetry analysis)
Desired Skills and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in data science, Data Engineering or related field, or equivalent experienceOn-the-job experience exhibiting communication skills, both oral and written, as well as making presentations to small audiencesExperience with PythonExperience with network architectureExperience with risk assessments, methodologies, and scoringExperience working independentlyPosition Clearance Requirement:TS/SCIPlease be aware many of our positions require the ability to obtain or maintain a U.S security clearance which requires U.S citizenship.NS2 Mission is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
