Adjunct Professor of NursingJob Description
The Department of Nursing invites applications for the position of Adjunct Professor of Nursing. This is a course-by-course, part-time position responsible for instruction of pre-licensure students in the clinical setting.The nursing clinical adjunct faculty instructor shall be responsible for the instruction and supervision of pre-licensure students during clinical learning activities at a cooperating agency.The University of New Hampshire offers clinical experiences in the following specialties:Fundamentals of NursingMed/SurgMental HealthMaternityPediatricsCampus Location
DurhamRequired Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following conditions:Master's degree in NursingBS in Nursing, currently matriculated in an MSN or health care related graduate program.BS in Nursing with extensive relevant experience.Experience:
At least two years of recent, relevant nursing experience in the specialty which you are applying for.Licensure:
Current unencumbered New Hampshire registered nurse license or a current and unencumbered multi-state registered nurse license issued by a compact state.Preferred Qualifications
Experience in clinical teaching.Experience in working with college age and non-traditional students.Skill in working with culturally diverse constituencies in the academic environment.Salary Information
