KEY ELEMENTS OF THE POSITION

The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for the company’s overall hospitality sales performance. They will provide leadership and direction to the organization’s sales executives and will report directly to the President.Essential Job Functions

Manage hospitality sales executive and maintain hospitality sales operations.Develop individual sales targets and inspire sales executives to achieve those objectives.Identify business development opportunities in the hospitality sector, with particular emphasis on exploring new geographical markets and territories.Engage with the hospitality design community and connect with ownership and purchasing agents.Identify, recruit, and train hospitality sales executives as required.Take ownership of the US marketing budget.Plan and coordinate trade advertising.Plan and coordinate participation at trade shows both nationally and locally.Drive use of iPad presentational tools and development of new material.Coordinate North American environmental strategy.Achieve assigned organizational objectives for sales and profits.Work in close collaboration with other key functional areas within the company to ensure success in achieving overall company strategic objectives.Execute and monitor day-to-day sales efforts to foster the achievement of strategic sales objectives.Develop and maintain key account relationships with strategic brands, ownership groups, design firms, and purchasing agencies.Effectively communicate goals and progress to the executive team.Carry out any other duties as deemed necessary and reasonable by management.Qualifications

Sales management experience, particularly in the hospitality industry.Demonstrated ability to grow a sales organization.Coaching and mentoring skills.Experience with custom product solutions, ideally in the hospitality industry.Excellent communication, follow-up, and documentation skills.Ability to work as part of a team and individually.Effective at listening, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by customers.Ability to influence decision-makers and build strategic relationships.ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS

The compensation package includes a base salary, bonus, and full benefits.
