The Inside Sales Specialist for our Biologics - Gene Therapy team is a home-based position working in collaboration with the Associate Director, Gene Therapy Research Solutions. Responsible for driving outbound research Gene Therapy sales.

SCOPE/COMPLEXITY:Build Prospecting list for Gene Therapy - Research Solutions via e.g. LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Scitodate and other sources.Drive sales for research gene therapy through outbound prospecting (full sale cycle from initial reach out to PO receipt).Gather data on market trends, competitive products, and pricing (e.g., via direct feedback from prospects/clients etc.).Establish and nurture positive, productive relationships with newly acquired customer accounts.Share customer problems/concerns with relevant departments for quality resolution.Maintain a CRM database (Salesforce) via updates to sales opportunities and sales stages.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in a science or technical field or a similar experience required (Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Molecular Biology).Experience in gene therapy market (in particular, plasmid DNA and Viral Vector segments) is strongly preferred.2-4 years of successful sales experience with a technical life science product is strongly preferred.Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and master highly technical concepts and articulate them well to others.Familiarity with LinkedIn and preferably LinkedIn Sales Navigator.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of customer personality types.Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Strong business sense, instinct, and personal drive.Team goal-oriented with a focus on achieving team sales performance metrics through personal contribution and teamwork.Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills.Experience working with Salesforce, a similar CRM database.
