Sales Development Representative – Compliance Solutions

Job Summary

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) - Security Solution, will focus on outbound sales activities that lead to the creation of PAM/Enterprise Access sales qualified leads (SQL) for our sales organization. The SDR will be aggressive and hungry to identify and develop new SQLs that impact the profitable growth of Imprivata security solution revenue. They will need to be motivated to learn in a very fast-paced environment. This is accomplished through partnering with sales leadership, sales representatives, product management, and marketing to generate outbound activity that leads to the demand for security solutions. Activities include target account prospecting, inbound lead qualification, and outbound campaign marketing. The SDR will be instrumental in driving Imprivata’s revenue growth in both healthcare and commercial segments.

Duties And Responsibilities

Qualify inbound leads, including inbound calls, online chats, and last interesting moments against established criteria for existing and defined assigned accounts.

Conduct outbound calling to defined assigned RSMs/ISRs to identify new, add-on, and expansion opportunities.

Track and manage prospecting, qualification, and nurture activities in the company's CRM (SFDC) including contact records management and activity recording.

Act as the “front line” - knowledge and communication of Imprivata security solutions. Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Product Marketing.

Utilize SFDC to maintain level of metrics to meet activity goals (call volume, email campaigns, product, etc.).

Handle leads in a timely manner within SLA commitments.

Identify expansion opportunities within defined assigned accounts and pass SQL to ISR or RSM.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree desired.

Two to five years of B2B prospecting/closing experience preferably in healthcare IT security.

Ability to work in a team selling model.

Strong time management, organization, and decision-making skills are critical. Flexibility, adaptability, and self-motivation are essential – a whatever-it-takes mentality is required.

Able to perform prospect and account research to prepare for calls.

Discipline to maintain high call volume.

Experience with SFDC preferred.

Ability to work in our Waltham, MA office 2 to 3 days a week.

This position offers a salary range of $70,000 to $85,000 (inclusive of variable compensation such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata’s benefit offerings can be found here. This salary range represents the high and low end of Imprivata’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate’s location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
