We are specifically seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with advanced expertise in
Imprivata SSO
and
Duo MFA
within healthcare environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in
endpoint management ,
third-level support ,
software deployment , and
security best practices . A major responsibility will be integrating and supporting these systems, particularly
Imprivata SSO
and
Duo MFA , in large-scale environments (5,000+ users). Additionally, the role requires
project management
expertise and a strong understanding of healthcare-specific systems, especially
Epic applications . Experience with
OKTH
is a plus. Key Expertise: Imprivata SSO Support (Advanced Technical Skills):
Imprivata Appliance Management
: Expertise in configuring and maintaining Imprivata appliances, including system upgrades, settings, domains, and agents. uthentication Modalities
: In-depth experience with various Imprivata-supported authentication methods such as biometric authentication, smart cards, and proximity cards. User Policy Configuration
: Proficiency in creating and managing Imprivata user policies, including access controls and authentication workflows (familiarity with Type I, Type 2, Type 3 machines, Citrix Servers). System Integration
: Expertise in integrating Imprivata with systems like EHRs, VDI environments, and mobile device management solutions. Incident Management
: Strong background in monitoring, resolving, updating, and escalating incidents via ServiceNow. pplication Profiling
: Advanced skills in profiling web and custom applications for single sign-on. Logs and Reporting
: Proficiency in using Imprivata's logging and reporting tools to track system performance and resolve issues. Identity Proofing & Enrollment
: Experience with identity proofing processes, user enrollments, and Digicert configuration. ctive Directory
: Experience managing AD Groups and syncing Imprivata SSO with AD. Secondary Expertise - Duo MFA Support:
Experience with monitoring, resolving, and escalating tickets in ServiceNow. bility to test workflows and policies, manage AD Groups, and provide iOS/Android configuration and troubleshooting. Perform Duo Admin Console duties such as assigning tokens, syncing with AD, and generating reports. Enforce security projects to phase out phone call-back methods and SMS. This is a hybrid/remote position, with an 8-month engagement set to begin four weeks from the date the quote is received .
Job Summary: Information Technology is looking for a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer with 6+ years of experience to provide operational support and technical expertise. The role requires hands on experience in implementing and managing Imprivata SSO, Duo MFA, and related systems in healthcare environments. The engineer will be responsible for optimizing and ensuring the smooth operation of critical systems, driving efficiency, and supporting integration across essential tools. Expertise in security best practices and system performance is essential, with familiarity in OKTH implementation being a plus. This position requires a senior-level engineer capable of managing complex systems and collaborating across teams. The ideal candidate will contribute to the effective deployment and maintenance of technical solutions in healthcare settings.
Responsibilities
Imprivata SSO Support: • Monitor, resolve, update, and escalate tickets in ServiceNow. • Install software from Symantec. • Test workflows and policies. • Manage Active Directory (AD) Groups. • Use the Imprivata Admin Console. • Sync with AD. • Manage users and computers. • Apply user and computer policies. • Manage stored user credentials. • Generate reports for crossed accounts. • Prepare for upgrades by ensuring computers are within supported versions. • Knowledge of Type I, Type 2, Type 3 machines (Private or MUD, Autologons, Citrix Servers). • Manage client-side registry settings. Horizon VDI: • Perform daily checks and remove stuck sessions. • Add/remove/change printers. • Provide general 3rd level support for TOC and Endpoint Support Services. • Resolve common issues such as profile failures, thin client reboot/rebuild, and O365 credential issues.
WorkspaceOne: • Assign iOS applications. • Refresh iOS profiles. • Perform iOS OS updates on demand for specific use cases. • Manage device OG moves and retirements. • Assign new device initial lifecycle profiles. • Support BYOD device enrollment tokens. • Provide general 3rd level support for TOC and Endpoint Support Services.
Duo MFA Support: • Monitor, resolve, update, and escalate tickets in ServiceNow. • Test workflows and policies. • Manage AD Groups. • Support iOS and Android configuration and troubleshooting. • Manage settings, add/remove/update apps. • Perform Duo Admin Console duties. • Assign tokens. • Sync with AD. • Generate reports. • Communicate with customers. • Enforce security projects to remove phone call back method and SMS.
Endpoint Management/Operational Support: • Manage and triage incoming tickets and requests. • Deploy software packages to endpoints. • Run reports in the Symantec console.
Required Technical Experience • Epic Application integration experience • Technical Project Management experience • Subject Matter Expert with a minimum of 2 Years experience managing /deploying Imprivata Single Sign On in an enterprise organization of 5,000 users or more. • Subject Matter Expert with a minimum of 2 Years experience managing and deploying Duo Multifactor Authentication in an enterprise organization of 5,000 users or more. Preferably in a health care organization. • Subject Matter Expert with a minimum of 1 Years experience managing and deploying VDI in an enterprise organization of 5,000 endpoints or more. Preferably in a health care organization. • Subject Matter Expert with a minimum of 5 Years experience endpoint management/operational support in an enterprise organization of 5,000 endpoints or more. • 2 years' experience using Active Directory Users and Computers. • Experience working in health care organization with HIPAA regulations. • Must have excellent written and communication skills with experience working with staff at all levels.
