Focused primarily on growing sales in this account (other surrounding mills) and supporting existing business and customers. This position is critical to supporting the customer base of the region while actively focused on providing value to the customer and increasing profits in the territory.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesIncrease sales through relationship building and product knowledgeRetention of Buckman’s current businessChampion Buckman and customers safety culture/policiesGenerate Continuous Improvement Initiatives for Buckman and customersEntertain as needed in accordance with Buckman guidelinesUse subject matter expertise to troubleshoot and problem solveEstablish relationships at all levels based on faith and trustMake results-driven decisions while maintaining Buckman valuesUse sales tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date account informationSubmit required reports in a timely mannerContinue education and self-training by taking advantage of training opportunitiesMaintain consignment inventoryManage Buckman assetsEffective planning and preparationObtain and use knowledge of customers' systemsSupport team initiatives and support team members' needsDistribute Activity (Service) Reports regularlyEssential Job RequirementsBachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or universityPulp & Paper, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Biology Degree preferred0-5 years related experience and/or trainingSpecific training in pulp/paper science or packaging desiredDemonstrated understanding of business/finance terminology desirable
