Position Summary

Sales executive to support Buckman business in New Bern, NC. Focused primarily on growing sales in this account (other surrounding mills) and supporting existing business and customers. This position is critical to supporting the customer base of the region while actively focused on providing value to the customer and increasing profits in the territory.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Increase sales through relationship building and product knowledge.Retention of Buckman’s current business.Champion Buckman and customers' safety culture/policies.Generate Continuous Improvement Initiatives for Buckman and customers.Entertain as needed in accordance with Buckman guidelines.Use subject matter expertise to troubleshoot and problem solve.Establish relationships at all levels based on faith and trust.Make results-driven decisions while maintaining Buckman values.Use sales tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date account information.Submit required reports in a timely manner.Continue education and self-training by taking advantage of training opportunities.Maintain consignment inventory.Manage Buckman assets.Effective planning and preparation.Obtain and use knowledge of customers' systems.Support team initiatives and support team members' needs.Distribute activity (service) reports regularly.

Essential Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university.Pulp & Paper, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Biology Degree preferred.5+ years related experience and/or training.Specific training in pulp/paper science or packaging desired.Demonstrated understanding of business/finance terminology desirable.
