YPrime's Customer Experience and Data Science team is looking for a Data Scientist II

to be responsible for supporting the team's activities for the collection, cleaning, and transformation of data to meet our customer and company needs. In this role, you will work in collaboration with the Data Scientist to ensure operational excellence across all deliverables.

You'll be based in our Malvern, Pennsylvania headquarters.

If so, here's what we need from you:Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experienceMinimum of 3 years experience in pharmaceutical, CRO, or Healthcare industryExperience with any data analysis package such as SPSS, SAS, R, or MATLABStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExtensive knowledge of clinical trials terminology, FDA, PMDA, and ICH guidelines as well as the drug development processExperience programming with clinical data within pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology companies, clinical IRT/eCOA systems, or EDCAbility to develop software solutions in conjunction with data scientist, statistician, and study team to anticipate and meet client needsGood communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex, technical informationWell organized and detail-oriented with an ability to multitaskHere are some more details about the job:You'll participate in experimental frameworks for product development and machine learning with the aim to lay a strong data foundation for the performance of robust analytics.You'll lead efforts in sharing information with applicable stakeholders when project pathway and solution is complex.You'll help team members understand reference documents by positioning self as a SME and being available to answer questions or talk out situations.You'll create a library of process checklists for reference for junior team members.You'll lead efforts in providing customer solutions by using experience in working with other customers and suggesting best approaches based on lessons learned.You'll lead efforts in proof-of-concept work regarding establishing data transfer processes, creating data transfer specifications, and reviews from the customers.You'll lead efforts in creating automated solutions.You'll lead efforts in bringing new technology solutions to the company and comparing existing vs. available solutions in the market.You'll train junior data scientists on creating data transfer agreements, specifications, and similar other standard documents.You'll be responsible for data transfer reviews, including ad hoc requests, snapshot reports, and study archival requests for high quality.You'll manage metadata for data transfer specifications for internal systems.You'll be able to make sense of data and extrapolate meaningful and actionable insights.You'll interact with project teams as a data science team contact to provide advice and support for data deliverables.You'll collaborate and work cross-functionally with the Data Management team.You'll interact effectively and independently with other functional units.You should be able to explore and present data in a useful way.You'll perform installations and other related duties as required.What are the YPrime Perks?Generous paid time offComprehensive benefits package largely subsidized by YPrime401(k) with company matchFlexible working arrangements with an emphasis on work/life balanceFriendly, smart, passionate, and hard-working coworkersOpportunities for professional growth and advancement
