The Department of English and Creative Writing in the College of Arts and Sciences at Widener University invites applications for the position of Adjunct Professor of English (first-year writing). Teaching a three-course load in Fall 2023 (ENGL 101 and or ENGL 102, depending on need)Creating syllabi and assignments designed to hone writing, research, and critical thinking skillsEmphasizing writing as a process through peer review, actionable feedback on drafts, student-instructor conferences, etc.Evaluation of student work based on course goalsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
