Solstice Consulting Group is seeking a

Regional Sales Manager (Rockies)

for an energy-related client based in Denver, Colorado.Base salary up to $150k DOE plus commission/bonus opportunity, company vehicle allowance, and benefits.Up to 40% travel in the Rockies region as necessary (CO, WY, ND).7+ years sales experience in oil & gas upstream and midstream environmental control and production equipment and services.Candidate should have current established oil & gas industry connections.The Regional Sales Manager establishes sales relationships with existing and prospective customers through industry and product knowledge deploying a solutions-based approach. Also, achieves maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling environmental control equipment for the oil & gas upstream and midstream sectors (flares, enclosed combustors, vapor recovery units, etc.). The successful candidate will have well-established industry connections in the Rockies region.Role & Responsibilities

Establishes and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the company’s products and services.Makes telephone calls, in-person visits, and presentations to existing and prospective customers at corporate and/or field headquarters.Research sources for developing prospective customer information to determine their potential.The ability to gather market intelligence in the upstream oil & gas market including competitors.Self-motivated individual with a strong bias toward action.Ability to execute corporate sales strategy at the highest levels within current and prospective customers.Plans and organizes personal sales strategy.Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and the potential for new products and services.Supports organizational success with timely communication and coordination with other sales team members.Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, and advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature.Participates in trade shows and conventions.Creates and maintains a focus on company HSEQ.Requirements

Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred and 10 years of professional experience in the upstream/midstream/energy services sectors required.5+ years sales experience in oil & gas upstream and midstream environmental control and production equipment and services.Strong current customer network in the Rockies region required.Strong presentational, problem-solving, organizational, and administrative skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
