Job Description

The Sales Manager will be responsible for all sales related activities for Oil & Gas opportunities in the NW region & Alaska, to develop and maintain relationships with End Users, Engineering Consultants, Contractors, and Channel Partners.

Reporting to the Sr Sales Manager, one of the primary functions will be providing regular business forecasts for all products and services.

They will effectively manage local channel partners (Manufacturer’s Representatives and Distributors) and maximize the performance of these channels.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements:Proven experience with managing the techniques required to coordinate the sale of products and services on capital projects as well as to resellers and end-users.Experience in effectively managing a channel partner network.Engineering or similar technical degree.Knowledge of and experience with the use of Microsoft Office and CRM.The Successful Candidate:Experience in the sale of engineered industrial automation products or process equipment.High level of self-motivation, independence, and self-reliance.Knowledge of Oil & Gas business (Upstream, Midstream and Downstream).Desire to deliver a quality product to both internal and external customers.Exhibit tact and strong diplomatic skills when dealing with all staff, customers and suppliers.
