Job Description

This position is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategy and effective account management for a strategic customer or group of customers in an effort to increase sales and profitability for Bosch Mobility Aftermarket, North America. The position is focused on strategic selling activities, such as identifying new business opportunities, creating differentiated programs, preparing and presenting business proposals, coordinating and participating in trade shows and building strategic customer relationships to create value for our customers, maximize sales penetration, and obtain optimum market share across all Bosch mobility aftermarket product categories. This position will focus on heavy duty distributor and installer accounts.

Detailed Responsibilities Will IncludeConduct evaluation of customer potential and develop business account plan to achieve complete penetration of multiple product categories while expanding sales and profitable growth with the customer. Collaborate with Bosch sales teams to identify potential customers, while avoiding unnecessary channel and customer shift.Formulate sales strategy by determining sales projections and performance goals that are consistent with achieving all of the strategic account sales and marketing objectives.Conduct market research to remain familiar with industry trends and competitive activity in the marketplace and within the customer.Regularly visit customers and develop positive relationships with key contacts at account site(s) and within the customer’s sales force. Network within customer organizations so that they are aware of and reliant upon all Bosch mobility aftermarket capabilities and resources.Schedule customer visits with their external field sales force to maintain awareness of issues and market trends in the field.Effectively communicate information within the customer sales team, customer account staff and Bosch senior management on a regular basis.QualificationsBachelors degree- Business, Sales, and Marketing are preferred5 years related experience including understanding how multiple groups work togetherAbility to develop a thorough understanding of Robert Bosch practices, products and customersKnowledge of competitive business environment related to heavy duty aftermarket distribution and serviceExcellent analytical and project management skillsExcellent verbal, written and presentation skills with ability to author presentations and reports for senior managementComprehensive knowledge and strong skills with MS Office applications, financial modeling, written reports, database analysis and SAP experienceAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
