Position summaryAs an Infusion Sales Account Manager, the primary responsibility is to drive sales and promote the adoption of infusion therapy products and services within the healthcare industry. The team member will be responsible for building relationships with healthcare professionals and identifying opportunities to meet their infusion therapy needs. The goal is to increase product awareness, generate leads, and close sales to achieve sales targets.This role also supports the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization by strategically working with key decision-makers to demonstrate how our products and services meet the needs of their patients and organizations and building partnerships that drive continuous growth in revenue and profitability.Essential FunctionsModels and holds others accountable to the Barnes culture and acts as a coach and mentor for others in the organization.Proactively identify and target healthcare facilities, hospitals, clinics, and infusion centers to promote infusion therapy products and services.Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and educational sessions to healthcare professionals.Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize sales opportunities and meet or exceed sales targets.Generate leads, qualify prospects, and effectively manage the sales pipeline.Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive product awareness and generate demand.Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within healthcare facilities.Establish rapport and credibility with healthcare professionals through regular communication, product training, and support.Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and professional meetings to network and promote infusion therapy products.Identify and address customer needs and concerns promptly and professionally.Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies related to infusion therapy.Develop a deep understanding of the company's infusion therapy products, their features, and their benefits.Provide product information, technical support, and training to healthcare professionals.Collaborate with internal teams, such as product development and customer support, to address customer inquiries and provide feedback on product performance.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts using CRM software.Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business growth.Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.Minimum qualifications and skillsA BS/BA degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Clinical degree, licensure, or experience preferred.Proven track record of successful sales experience, preferably in the healthcare or medical device industry.Strong knowledge of infusion therapy products and services.Success FactorsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsStrong presentation and relationship-building skillsStrong ability to influence and collaborateStrong ability to mentor and develop othersStrong ability to develop, grow, and nurture partnershipsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareWorking conditionsProlonged periods outside of the office meeting with prospects and clients.Responding to inquiries and calls during and outside of normal business hours.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
