Job DescriptionAs a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for leading the design of user interfaces for our mobile apps and desktop-based software. You will work closely with the design team, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our products meet the needs of our customers and provide a seamless user experience. You will be expected to be proficient in both mobile and desktop-based UI/UX design.Job Responsibilities & Requirements

What you will do:Lead the design of user interfaces for mobile apps and desktop-based software.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design concepts are effectively implemented.Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.Create wireframes, prototypes, and other design assets to communicate design concepts and test ideas.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.Work with the design team to maintain a consistent visual style across all products.Stay up-to-date with design trends, software updates, and emerging technologies in the field of UI/UX design.Create experiences that meet the needs of our users and align with our company's goals and objectives.Qualifications:Bachelors in Information Technology, Graphic Design, Web Design, or Visual Communication preferred.Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices preferred.4+ Years Experience leading the design of complex products and collaborating with cross-functional teams required.4+ Years Experience working in an agile development environment is a plus preferred.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment required.Excellent communication and presentation skills preferred.Knowledge of user research and testing methods preferred.Familiarity with front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript preferred.4+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on mobile apps and software products required.Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and experience required.Equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis.Additional Requirements:10% Some travel could be required to customer offices for the purpose of conducting user testing and analysis.MiTek Perks:Flexible Paid Time Off - take as much time off as you need!All Benefits begin on Day 1!Profit Sharing Plan and Annual Incentive Plan.13 Paid Holidays.401k Plan with Matching Contributions.A variety of Medical, Dental and Vision Plans to choose from.Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance.Tuition Reimbursement.Paid Parental Leave.Career advancement and training opportunities!MiTek is a platform innovator and enabler that exists to transform the building industry with better building solutions.
