Summary

A qualified candidate would be leading a complex project or product for various software solutions. The position works with cross-functional teams to address customer needs. The Sr. Software Product Manager provides technical support assistance and training for the support of new features and functionality. This role is an active and critical member of an Agile Development Scrum team within software development processes and is a key part of the decision-making group to assess the risk of various projects alongside Software Developers and Software Quality Assurance managers. This individual will have opportunities for mentoring others on required job duties and cross-training across teams on all the applications within the software suite.

The Sr. Software Product Manager will be focused primarily on MiTek Kova’s APIs, Integrations, and Infrastructure. This position will play a critical role in shaping and executing our strategy to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions to customers.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Contributes to the outcome roadmap and strategy for MiTek Kova's APIs, Integrations, and Infrastructure, aligning with the overall product vision and business goals.Conduct market research and stay up to date with industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.Collaborates with cross-functional teams including software development, professional services, support, and marketing to ensure alignment to business outcomes and successful planning, development, and delivery of features that support those outcomes.Cultivate engagement with customers and other stakeholders on our API and Integration offerings.Gather feedback and prioritize requirements from internal stakeholders, customers, and partners to inform the development and support of APIs, Integrations, and Infrastructure.Communicate relevant product updates, progress, and plans to internal teams, stakeholders, and customers.Work closely with software engineering teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects, while maintaining a strong focus on quality and scalability.Define and track key metrics to measure the success and impact of enhancements in relation to desired outcomes.Be the Subject Matter Expert for MiTek Kova's API offerings, deeply understanding the technology in terms of benefits, limitations, and future potential.Effectively communicates the benefits of MiTek Kova's APIs to others.Helps with the testing of the functionality, security, and overall performance of the APIs.Oversees and owns backlog maintenance of their product and/or projects.Recommends improvements to processes and procedures that deliver improvements to the business both internally and externally.Acts as a go-to person within the Product Management organization for either a customer job area or a certain product and/or technology.Common involvement with mentorship within various aspects of the Product Management department, occasional supervisory needs could be required for this role.Oversees and drives complex project timing and dependencies either personally or working with a Project Manager.Oversees and drives multi-constituent and/or product project timing and dependencies.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.5+ years of experience in product management, preferably working with software products.Experience working in a software development environment.Strong technical background and understanding of APIs, cloud infrastructure, and related technologies.Proven track record of successfully facilitating the delivery of complex projects on time and within budget.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and competing priorities.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Knowledgeable of Product Management methodologies and their application.Passion to learn new technologies, and brainstorm broad applications or ideas with a wide range of stakeholders and customers.Ability to foster deep relationships with new and existing people with a variety of personality types.Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience working in an Agile software development environment using Scrum is preferred.Experience working with complex/enterprise software products highly preferred.Experience working with ERP systems a plus.Experience working in the homebuilding industry highly desired.Familiarity with software development environments like C# or Visual Basic .NET is beneficial but not required.MiTek Perks:
