If so, let's talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a Federal Subcontracts Administrator, you will be responsible for negotiating, monitoring, and administering subcontracts through the acquisition process. Responsibilities include:Managing subcontractor relationships and subcontracts, including the bidding process, negotiations, and execution.Monitoring subcontractor performance and developing subcontract documents.Working closely with the contracts and negotiations department (C&N) to incorporate necessary flow-down clauses.Maintaining audit readiness.Leading the formulation of price strategy and price-to-win in conjunction with prime contract and project leads.Conducting price analysis evaluation of subcontractor proposals.Utilizing IBM procurement systems and serving as the primary interface between IBM and subcontractors.Negotiating subcontract agreements and preparing small business subcontracting plans.Maintaining subcontract files and ensuring compliance with Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) requirements.Acting as a liaison to facilitate communication between subcontract stakeholders and program managers.Mentoring and coaching peers.Example KPIs for the role include:Compliance with Federal regulations & IBM policy.Acting with speed to enable revenue growth.*Must sit in Herndon, VA or Bethesda, MDRequired Technical and Professional ExpertiseIntegral knowledge of Government Contracting to include FARS/DFARS.Comprehensive understanding of Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) requirements.Experience in procurement and extensive knowledge of subcontract administration practices.Experience with various types of contracts, including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) types.Preferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseExperience with negotiating subcontract terms and conditions.Experience with government subcontract file documentation and CPSR requirements.In-depth understanding of relevant laws and regulations governing assigned subcontracts.About IBMIBM's greatest invention is the IBMer.
