As an Associate Attorney you will join a team of attorneys who are committed to providing compassionate and knowledgeable guidance to our clients. You will be responsible for handling a caseload of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, and property division negotiations. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and highly motivated to join us as we continue to serve clients throughout southeast Michigan.This is a full-time role located in Bloomfield Hills, MI with flexibility for some remote work.Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolAdmission to State Bar of MichiganMinimum of 4 years of experience practicing family law in MichiganStrong knowledge of Michigan family law, court rules, and proceduresExcellent research, writing, and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to handle a caseload independentlyCandidate must be organized, detail-oriented and highly motivatedAbility to work collaboratively and supportively in a team environmentExperience with alternative dispute resolution is preferredStrong commitment to the ethical practice of family lawExperience using legal practice management software and tools is a plus
