Your future starts now.The Regional Sales Manager 401k (RSM) is responsible for Empower 401(k) product proposal generation and sales in the under-five million dollar market segment in specified geographic area and it could be within specified dealer-firm channels. The RSM will also be responsible for promoting the Empower brand and products/solutions within their assigned branches.Candidate must reside in Atlanta, GA or very close driving proximity.What you will do:

Establish a steady sales pipeline and increase sales production in assigned territory and market segment.Maintain a regular rotation of visits to the assigned focus firm branches within their assigned territory with the objective of increasing sales in the respective RSC’s assigned asset market segment.Increase awareness of the Empower brand, products, and solutions in the marketplace.Ultimately, the RSC will be measured on sales generated per their compensation formula.Deliver presentations to a group of Financial Advisors that could include content related to Empower products & services or value add information such as regulatory updates, and compliance approved plan design and sales ideas.Coordinate activity with the local wholesalers and the Regional Vice President, Core Markets.Accountable for managing a schedule that consists of phone activity (30% - 40% of the time) and travel for face-to-face sales meetings within their assigned territory (60% - 70%).Manage all activity within a designated travel and expense budget.What you will bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or other related discipline.REGISTRATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSING REQUIRED:

FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 registrations required within corporate-established timelines.Required to obtain Life Insurance License for all states covered by sales activity; FINRA fingerprinting required.What will set you apart:

Minimum of 3 years financial services experience.Minimum of 1 year in Defined Contribution industry experience in working with intermediaries, particularly wirehouses.Experience with insurance, mutual funds, and annuity products.Excellent verbal and written communications skills.Ability to apply methodical and entrepreneurial approach to large list of prospective advisors.Ability to multi-task under time sensitive deadlines.Willingness to travel up to 80% of the month.Desire to work in a fast-paced, sales-oriented team environment.Frequent use of office equipment including PC, phone, fax, copier.Travels frequently and may fly on airplanes, drive automobiles for long periods of time, carry a briefcase, and lift luggage as needed.This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications of the job. $57,000.00 - $76,125.00. The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance.
