Key responsibilities include working as part of a team that achieves targeted bookings and annual recurring revenue; demonstrating account growth within your assigned territory as well as managing relationships with key stakeholders. The position will generate and grow revenue through existing accounts; target new opportunities for development and revenue generation; and explore new leads.The Contribution:Manage regional development activities within your allocated region for both existing and new accountsDefine and execute Targeted Account Sales plans and growth strategies within your assigned territoryLeverage partnerships to develop and execute account penetration plansWork with the proposal team to prepare proposals and responses to RFIs and RFPsGenerate opportunities and achieve revenue targets within your assigned territoryMaintain strong customer relationships with all buying influencers and decision makersPresent a complete product & solution portfolio to customers and prospectsWork closely with product management, the senior leadership team, and customers to provide insight on customer/market needs and drivers.Provide relevant and critical information/documentation in a timely manner and document all sales activities in our CRMProvide an accurate forecast on a weekly basisKeep abreast of competition, competitive issues, and products within your assigned regionAssist in coordinating all commercial and technical issues relating to pilots and other types of evaluationsIdeal Profile:A highly energetic and customer-focused individual who is knowledgeable about and/or interested in the transportation technology industry. You bring to the organization the following competencies:Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred4-8 years of experience involving consultative software & solution discussions and/or operational expertiseExperience in a technical sales environment with a demonstrated consultative approach to sellingHunter Mentality: an exceptionally strong desire to bring new customers to Rekor, maximize revenue, and grow our customer baseExcellent presentation skills and a persuasive communications styleStrong interpersonal skills in building and maintaining collaborative relationships with cross-functional & cross-cultural teamsFlexibility to travel frequently to customer meetings and events (approximately 50% or more time spent traveling)Candidate must be self-sufficient and comfortable working in an emerging marketPreferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Skilled at creating and executing prospecting strategies for discovering new accountsSkilled in contract negotiation and the ability to effectively manage sales activities from initial contact through closingPresenting and discussing solutions with C-level Executives and other decision-makers
