Senior Fund Accountant Consultant – Fort LauderdalePineBridge Investments is a private, global asset manager focused on active, high conviction investing. The role will be based in Fort Lauderdale with the expectation of a hybrid work model.As a senior fund accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting our Alternative Finance fund accounting team in accurately and efficiently managing financial data related to our secondary investment funds. You will gain valuable hands-on experience in fund accounting operations, financial analysis, and reporting in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Primary Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation and review of NAV packages, waterfalls, and financial statements.Assist in reviewing capital calls and distributions to investors.Calculate and maintain fund performance metrics.Support the team during internal audits, external audits, and regulatory examinations by preparing relevant documentation.Contribute to special projects as assigned by the fund accounting team, which may involve research and data analysis.Correspond with other internal PineBridge teams and external parties to complete ad hoc projects assigned by the fund accounting team, including but not limited to investor requests.Work with the fund administrators in preparing and processing wire payments.Review daily cash reconciliation to monitor fund’s cash activity.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Master's degree in Accounting and/or CPA a plus.5-8 years of total experience.Fund accounting experience (private or at an administrator) and/or public accounting experience with clients in the private equity industry required. A mix of public/private experience is a plus.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret and process complex financial data accurately.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team-oriented environment.Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize.About PineBridgePineBridge is proud of our award-winning culture, which reflects our commitment to empowering employees and fostering a collaborative work environment.
