Job Description:
Work closely with front-end developers, architects, and DBAs to develop and extend our cutting-edge online grocery platform. Build and optimize data modules and data structure to achieve increased data processing speed, reliability, and scalability. Ruby and SQL Development. Interact with Technical content writer and Product teams for design and approval of internal and external Knowledge Base articles. Work with our API team to troubleshoot and maintain RESTful APIs to help implement or improve features. Development guidance, examples, and unit tests. Analyze the implication of changes. Work with team, leads to finalize designs. Help to implement where needed. Code reviews. Hands on coding. Performance testing and improvement analysis and suggestions. Customer interaction as needed. Work closely with the Sales team to assist with presentations, demos, etc. Position may be eligible for full-time telecommuting.Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field, followed by two (2) years of software engineering experience. Experience must include:Two (2) years of experience with SQLTwo (2) years of experience with application developmentTwo (2) years of experience interacting with APIsORMaster’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field, and demonstrated knowledge of the following:SQLApplication developmentAPI experienceAny combination of education that has been evaluated by a professional credentials evaluation service to be the equivalent of a U.S. degree will be accepted. Knowledge can be demonstrated through education, training, and/or experience. References required.Work location:
