Job Description:
Diagnose, isolate, and implement remedies for system failures caused by errors in software code, using knowledge of system characteristics, and utilizing software-based system maintenance and tracking tools. This position is eligible for part-time telecommuting. Multiple positions available.Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent* in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical field followed by two (2) years of software engineering experience.Experience must include:
Two (2) years of experience with one or more computer programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, HTML, C++, CSS, C#, .Net, etc.);Two (2) years of experience with API and cloud programming;Two (2) years of experience with REST APIs;Two (2) years of experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP); and,Two (2) years of experience with core computer science fundamentals such as common data structures, algorithms, and concurrent programming.OrMaster's degree or foreign equivalent* in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical field and demonstrated knowledge** of the following:One or more computer programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, HTML, C++, CSS, C#, .Net, etc.); API and Cloud programming;REST APIs; Object-Oriented Programming (OOP); and,Core computer science fundamentals such as common data structures, algorithms, and concurrent programming.Any combination of education that has been evaluated by a professional credentials evaluation service to be the equivalent of a U.S. degree will be accepted.** Knowledge can be demonstrated through education, training and/or experience.References required.
