As a key member of the Materials Group North America (MGNA) Operations Finance Team, the Regional Plant Controller provides key analytical and financial analysis, process improvement, and planning/forecasting/reporting support to the MGNA Operations and Supply Chain Organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and driving the day-to-day financial processes and activities related to forecasting and planning of Total Manufacturing Expense, Inventory and Capital. This includes preparing financial and business-related analyses, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. You will also work closely with key Operations and Supply Chain Stakeholders to help establish site and divisional performance targets, be an active and engaged participant in driving performance, identify productivity projects and other continuous improvement opportunities (through process and/or enhanced tools) to eliminate inefficiencies in financial processes.Key Responsibilities:Business Partnership:

Provide interpretive and predictive financial support and business partnership to Ops Finance Director and Ops/Supply Chain Leadership TeamPartner with central Ops/Supply Chain stakeholders including Transportation and indirect Procurement, Operations Finance team, and broader Finance and Accounting teams to drive greater collaboration and process efficienciesActive participant and thought partner on Ops Finance Leadership team as we collaborate and drive the team and business forward (focus on streamlining processes and driving productivity)

Planning/Reporting/Analysis:

Lead the Annual Operating Plan, monthly/rolling Forecast, weekly R&O, and bridging processesEvaluate key drivers and root cause(s) and provide meaningful analysis to explain Divisional TME performance and variances to target/commitmentsProvide full transparency by tracking and communicating Operations Bonus Plan performancePrepare and/or handle the preparation of the business case(s) and associated financial justification(s) for certain capital expenditure requests that involve multiple manufacturing locations and/or divisional-based, larger capital projectsFulfill various ad-hoc reporting and analysis requirements, including developing, analyzing and presenting

Team Management:

Lead, manage and develop 1-2 analystsEffectively leverage team members to complete all job and functional assignments and requirements

Controllership/Compliance:

Ensure all site and divisional entries and checklist items are completed so that results are accurate and timelyProvide additional oversight and thought partnership to ensure sites are maintaining a strong controllership environment

Qualifications

Educational/Work Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting5+ years of financial and/or accounting experience with experience in a manufacturing environment3 years prior supervisory or management experience preferredExperience with process improvement, driving back office efficiencyMainstream (common) ERP and/or financial system(s) experience preferredOrganizational skillsAbility to multitask yet prioritize effectively to meet deadlinesAbility to work with and synthesize large & complex datasets to prepare comprehensive analyses/reports in a clear and succinct mannerStrong mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient in financial modeling, budgeting/forecasting, financial analysisAbility to assess existing processes and implement/drive process improvement to drive efficiencyBuild strong & successful relationships with stakeholdersExercise insightful discernment and drive action and execution which lead to resultsPromote collaboration, desire to learn continuously and takes initiative to act on data and intuitionAdvanced proficiency in MS Office suite, Google Sheets and other related softwareWorking knowledge of ERP (Oracle EBS) and BI platform (Oracle BI)Adept at effectively communicating ideas and making presentationsAdditional Information
