Job Summary

Xfinity's AI Experience (AIX) domain empowers teams to build experiences that Xfinity customers trust and love. Our team's customer facing Xfinity Assistant chatbot, agent-facing chat assistant, and Orchestration and Middleware platform work together to drive experiences in our self-service channels (Xfinity.com, Xfinity Voice channel, Xfinity app and many more) as well as our frontline teammate's tools (Care, Tech and Retail.) The future is here and our domain is tasked with leveraging AI (ML, LLM and Generative AI) to enhance our platform's capabilities to bring new experiences to our customers faster, more efficiently and at the scale our business requires. Xfinity's AIX domain is one of the few domains that has Product, Architecture and Engineering teams reporting under the same leader resulting in a high-performing product team that drives value adding outcomes for our customers and our business. Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

Partner with our AI team to deliver new features including using AI (and LLMs specifically) to power aspects of chat bot experiences.Embedded with the Platform Product and engineering team to accelerate our discovery process including understanding how things work today across many contributing product teams.Summarize and present insights from technical discovery and business discovery sessions that help the organization and working teams benefit from what you've learned.Provide insight into our execution planning by identifying existing constraints (technical challenges, capacity challenges, etc.).Take ownership of challenges and understanding the root cause (process, people and technology) of those challenges.Partner with Solution Architects, Producer Owners, Product Managers, Business SMEs, Lead Engineers, etc. to understand the teams needed to innovate and solve hard problems.Help us identify and prioritize opportunities by analyzing and massaging data from our platform.Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary. Works with Software Developers to support design and development as required.Prepares detailed functional and technical specifications from which programs will be written.Interacts with end users to gather requirements and scope of effort. Performs analysis of user needs, documentation of requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications.Identifies and assesses probable interactions of related systems and predicts impact of a change in assigned system.May review proposals, including gathering facts, analyzing data and preparing project overview which compares alternatives in terms of cost, time, availability of equipment and personnel etc. Recommends course of action.Maintains a strong working knowledge of system interaction to ensure success in overall architectural solution.Functions as a liaison between the client, community and internal Software Engineers and/or external software vendors to develop system solutions to processing systems or business problems.Ensures data quality and integrity across data-specific application implementations.Supports the testing team and business users in validating that the programs meet the requirements. Participates in unit, integration and test procedures. Compares test results against requirements to validate that coding is accurate.Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
