Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Other duties may be assigned.Computes pay according to company policy and union contract.Compiles and prepares other payroll data such as pension, insurance, and credit union payments.Processes payroll deductions.Interprets company policies, union contract, and government regulations affecting payroll procedures.Prepares government reports.Reviews payroll to ensure accuracy.Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.Performs balance sheet reconciliations.Performs daily cash balance analysis.Performs accounts payable backup duties.Performs depreciation, capital budget, and credit card backup duties.Performs other accounting tasks as assigned.Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Education and/or ExperienceBachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or four or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. UltiPro payroll experience is a plus.Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals.
