Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Other duties may be assigned.Computes of pay according to company policy and union contract.Compiles and prepares other payroll data such as pension, insurance, and credit union payments.Processes payroll deductions.Interprets company policies, union contract and government regulations affecting payroll procedures.Prepares government reports.Reviews payroll to ensure accuracy.Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.Performs balance sheet reconciliations.Performs daily cash balance analysis.Process daily banking duties.Performs accounts payable back up duties.Performs Depreciation, Capital Budget, Credit Card back up duties.Performs other accounting tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Education and/or ExperienceBachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or four or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. UltiPro payroll experience a plus.

Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Mathematical SkillsAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.

Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; UltiPro or equivalent Payroll System.Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsCertified Payroll Professional preferredOther QualificationsN/ACUSTOMER SERVICEDisplays behavior that creates a customer service culture at CJE by understanding the needs of our clients and customers and demonstrating a strong bias toward service, quality and customer satisfaction.
