Sr. Data Engineer
The candidate will be working as part of a larger team on a solution to move On-Prem and Cloud-based Security Data to a Data Analysis and Reporting Platform. The candidates will be working on stories that define various types of Security data as it relates to Network, Infrastructure and Application Security. This data will be provisioned, transformed, loaded, and prepared for Analysis and Reporting.Technologies expected to be used include MS SQL Server, SSIS, Kafka, Cloudera, Spark with the potential to utilize Java, Python, PySpark, and others. Candidates need to have excellent experience with high-performance computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure and other Cloud Technologies providing High-Availability and Scaling.Candidates should have hands-on knowledge and development/programming skills with either Python and/or Java. The ability to analyze, build and deploy rapid prototypes, reusable code, and frameworks. A solid understanding of Enterprise Data lake concepts, reporting tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.They should have experience collaborating with analysts and developing solutions and presenting to leadership succinctly. They need to have a good understanding of using documentation tools such as Confluence, Jira, and others.Top Technical Skills:
