LogicMonitor has a layered approach to intelligence, where AI and Machine Learning is baked into every facet of the LM Envision platform to help IT teams improve efficiency, minimize alert fatigue, proactively predict trends, and maximize enterprise growth and transformation.The Staff UI Engineer (SUIE) will be one of the foundational contributors of the engineering team at LM, helping us to become a best-in-class infrastructure software product engineering team. As the SUIE, reporting to the Team Lead, you will shepherd strong individual contribution and demonstrate best practices. It is key you are comfortable participating in short-term planning, contributing technical and domain expertise to the conversation. You will work in tandem to workshop with the development team in design reviews and give constructive feedback in Pull Request reviews. This role provides plenty of opportunity to make your mark at LogicMonitor.Here's a closer look at this key role:Participate in design workshops where customer requirements are converted into acceptance tests.Prioritize and plan for deliverables in an iterative development strategy, according to our 2-week scrum schedule and 1-week regression testing.Design, document, code, and test technical solutions for new systems or enhancements to existing systems.Troubleshoot and resolve product/application issues for escalated support cases.Collaborate with a diverse, distributed development organization. Our development team spans multiple cities in the US and Asia.Ability to tackle performance and design issues at a deep technical level.What You'll Need:BS/BA required, prefer CS or Math.8+ years of software development experience in commercial or enterprise applications.2+ years of full-time experience as a JavaScript developer using a modern framework like React and Angular. TypeScript is a plus.Expert in implementing and optimizing agile development and continuous integration/continuous delivery methodologies.Experience with contributing to complex web applications, testing components, and contributing to a collaborative team repository.High level of comfort with browser debug tools for layout, process inspection, and network analysis.
