Job SummaryTHE TEAMIn the Technology Strategy, Planning and Risk team, our mission is to optimize our investment, deliver incremental revenue, unlock cost savings and increased flexibility within the department. We analyze tech processes in order to identify inefficiencies and implement changes. We lead the technology strategy and own related tech driven projects, planning and insight; carrying out in-depth analysis on our divisions to drive commercial value throughout the department in order to provide recommendations and increase financial understanding, resulting in reduced cost and/or improving efficiency within tech.THE JOBTicketmaster’s Technology Division is looking for a highly resourceful team player to bring their knowledge of analytical solutions and the drive to use data to solve real world business problems to join the Technology Strategy, Planning and Risk team as a Data Analyst.The Data Analyst will play a key role by capturing, processing, and transforming multiple datasets into actionable analytical products and solutions. They’ll partner closely with key stakeholders across the Technology division to define reporting needs, identify the source of required data and build and maintain the tools and dashboards that will support critical business needs on an ongoing basis.This role will also act as a collaborator on key Tech initiatives by understanding the evolving data landscape of the organization and the defining/executing against data and reporting requirements in support of specific business requirements and outcomes.The Data Analyst will also be a key contributor to key improvement initiatives within specific Tech teams by collaborating with cross-functional members of the Tech org to deliver operational enhancements to crucial data-related processes.What You Will Be DoingData Collection, Processing & ReportingIdentify data and reporting needs to support the development of a data and analytics roadmap for the Tech Strategy team.Partner with various cross-functional members of the Tech org to understand data and reporting needs and translate those needs into tools to enable actionable improvements to key processes.Own the creation, updating and continuous improvement of critical internal reports and dashboards for key Tech stakeholders.Data AnalysisUnderstand the evolving data landscape with the Tech team and Ticketmaster more broadly to help inform tooling best practices and continuous improvement.Assist in exploratory analysis to support key Tech initiatives and programs.Show initiative to solve business problems using modern data analysis techniques.Data Interpretation and ModellingSupport on tech driven projects and/or technology transformation initiatives requiring analysis.
