The Assistant General Manager is responsible for supporting the General Manager in overseeing the designated studio(s) to ensure the studio is well-maintained and that customer service standards are upheld to YogaSix standards. He/she will oversee all aspects of studio functionality including Sales and Operations as well as the direct supervision of Wellness Advisors. He/she must have strong customer service skills, knowledge of PC/Mac computers, able to communicate in an effective and efficient way, be team-oriented and have a drive and passion for sales and service. The Assistant GM should be prepared to work 20-30 hours per week, potentially more when needed.JOB REQUIREMENTS:1+ year of retail/service sales or fitness sales experienceExperience supervising people successfullyProven experience in generating and following up on leadsConfident in generating personal sales and training Wellness Advisors in salesMust be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via emailAbility to excel in a fast changing, diverse environmentAbility to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgementSolid writing and grammar skillsHighly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesProfessional, punctual, reliable and neatStrong attention to detail and accuracyTrustworthy and ability to handle confidential informationAbility to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general publicAbility to stay calm at all times and act respectfully and professionally, even with customers who may become angry or raise their voicesProficient with computers and Studio softwareCurrent CPR & First Aid CertificationDUTIESLead Generation, Membership Sales and RetentionManage and grow all revenue streams including Memberships, Retail and Teacher TrainingAssist in creating and executing ongoing marketing plan based on studio needs with a focus on new client acquisition, activation, retention and loyaltySchedule/participate in Grassroots Marketing partnerships on a weekly basis to drive new guest trafficSupport efforts to recruit, hire, train, supervise, coach, mentor Wellness AdvisorsManage maintenance issues, inventory and cleaningParticipate in studio, regional and company-wide meetings and trainings as neededSupport social media managementPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
