to join our R&D team based in our

Waltham, MA

headquarters. We are looking for a candidate with experience in the field of electrochemistry/electroanalytical chemistry, electrochemical sensors, biosensors, or related areas. In this role, you will be dedicated to the development of innovative biosensor technology used in Nova’s point-of-care diagnostic devices.More specific

responsibilities

will include:Work in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team environmentResponsible for designing, planning, and executing electrochemical experiments focusing on the development of biosensorsAbility to work independently with great attention to detail and work collaboratively with other R&D team membersLead and conduct research projects focused on innovation in biosensor technologyNew product development as well as improving existing productsLeading projects and mentoring less experienced scientistsAnalyze and interpret experimental data and results; ensure quality conduct of projectsAble and willing to handle biohazard blood samplesQualifications :Ph.D. degree in Electrochemistry / Electroanalytical chemistry with research focus in biosensors or immunosensors; post-doc experience or related industrial experience is helpfulStrong background in electroanalytical techniques and method developmentStrong skills in utilizing Excel for data analysisLooking for a highly motivated and innovative Scientist who possesses proven academic skills with the ability to work effectively in a diverse environmentCapable of working on multiple research projects and ability to effectively manage multiple assigned tasks simultaneously.Strong problem-solving ability
