Position DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Team Lead to lead a dynamic team for an exciting new project. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for driving the technical direction of a new financial services trading platform. Directing a team of 7 Full Stack Engineers, you will oversee the development process and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy scalable and robust applications on AWS infrastructure.As the leader of this team, you will have a high degree of competence in developing easy-to-use, customer-focused APIs and capabilities which power web and mobile online platforms. You will help design and develop re-usable APIs that focus on customer experience. Additionally, you will be involved in developing responsive user interfaces to integrate with backend services. You'll contribute to the entire development lifecycle from concept to deployment as a member of an agile, multi-functional team.Key Technical Skills:

Front end: Typescript, Angular 15, CSS, Jest, Cypress, RXJS, MonoRepoBackend: Java 8 and 17, Spring Boot, Microservices, Java Streams, JPA, Cucumber, Maven, Swagger, Oracle SQLYour future duties and responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers throughout the software development lifecycle. Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.Participate in design and implementation of software solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements and align with overall Architecture.Design, develop, and test highly scalable Web and API services that power both web and mobile platforms.Lead the development of both frontend and backend components of the application using Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks.Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes. Ensure the reliability and availability of the application in production environments.Understand the leadership vision and execute on that vision. Strengthen and promote the culture of innovation by setting examples.Identify technical challenges and propose innovative solutions to address them. Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.Foster a culture of best-in-class software engineering practices.Exercise a passion for keeping your knowledge up to date with the latest and greatest and ensure a high level of integrity in the team.Take ownership and accountability for figuring out what needs to be done.Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

15+ years of hands-on experience in developing Web services and API solutions using various Java-based frameworks.Minimum 3+ years proven development experience in frameworks such as Angular 8+, ReactJS, NodeJS, VueJS, Typescript.Proficient in Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Core, Spring Boot, and JavaScript.Proficient in building Web User Interface (UI) using HTML4/HTML5, CSS2/CSS3, XHTML, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, JSON, REST APIs.Experience in Domain Driven Design and developing Microservices.Experience in designing and developing services - API, including versioning, isolation.Experience in documenting APIs leveraging an API documentation framework (Swagger).Experience in testing frameworks like Junit, Mockito, Spring Test, Jasmine, Karma, Protractor.Proficient in Design patterns and their applicability.Understanding of 12-factor design principles and practical experience of remediating existing apps or building new apps to comply with those principles.Knowledge in DevOps processes, continuous integration, and delivery pipelines (Maven, Jenkins, Stash, Ansible, Docker).Knowledge of relational and NoSQL database management systems.Experience in developing enterprise cloud-based solutions using Amazon Cloud Computing Services; serverless microservices is a plus.Experience in deploying container-managed services using Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.Understanding of Job Schedulers like Control-m and Cron is a plus.Consultative Skills:

Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate software engineering and/or development concepts and principles.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate with other engineers, including distributed team members.Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to all aspects of the development.Preferred qualifications:

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $108,600 - $150,100.Benefits:
