Sales Director

in the Dallas area for our Retail and CPG Practice. Seeking a hunter with strong business development experience to build a focused market strategy and implement pro-active sales activities in the consumer products domain.The

Sales Director

will be responsible for identifying and growing net-new business and new pipeline in the Retail, CPG, and Logistics space. Requires deep understanding of market and competition to develop appropriate sales strategies and apply the sales and solution expertise, in conjunction with project teams. A good Sales Hunter is keen to roll up their sleeves and actively help the team develop value propositions based on a firm understanding of opportunity areas at these Consumer Technology firms.Overview:Premier sales management executive in the technology / engineering domain with deep insight into the newest technologies and trendsCraft the overall solutions required by clients & guide project teams on technology strategyResponsible for identifying and closing dealsBe the face of Infosys to the market and help position Infosys as an industry leader and trusted advisorLeverage the Infosys ecosystem of capabilities across technology practices, industry verticals, and service lines to develop solutions that address the client’s business problemsGround-breaking force behind developing solutions specifically geared towards serving Consumer Technology enterprisesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education9+ years of experience, with strong sales experience in IT Services and SolutionsNet-new logos and hunting experience is requiredUnderstanding of Global Delivery Model (offshore/outsourcing) and large deal experienceMinimum of 5-7 years of relevant business development experience selling IT servicesTrack record of interacting and building relationships with CXOs of leading organizationsHands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentationsStrong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skillsU.S. citizenship or permanent residency required, we are not able to sponsor this position at this time.Preferred Qualifications:History of achieving/overachieving sales targetsExperience in S/W contract negotiationsExperience with competitor mapping and SWAT analysisAbility to define specific to ground-breaking solutions within abstract environmentsWell networked within the IT services industry and Retail or CPG verticalAbility to identify upcoming RFPs / deals by networking with key client collaboratorsAbout Us:Infosys is a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting.
