Hotel Area Director Of Human Resources

Exciting opportunity to join our growing company as an Area Director of Human Resources. You will manage the development, implementation, and administration of human resource functions, including training and development, benefit administration, and employee relations for a group of selected hotels.This position will be based at the Hilton Jackson.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with GF Hotels & Resorts corporate human resources support team to ensure benefits, compensation, leaves, and employee relations programs are effectively communicated and administered at the property levelTrain and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standardsProcess new hires consistent with established standards and applicable state, federal, and local laws and regulationsEnsure compliance with all state and federal laws as well as regulations and court rulings, that pertain to Human Resources by reviewing current management, practices, implementing new procedures, and communicating verbally and in writing any new requirementsCounsel and train managers on employee relations issues, resolve employee grievances, conduct management exit interviews and examine all exit interviews for trends, and implement various employee relations programs to maintain a pro-employee environment that ultimately limits turnoverQualifications

Prior hotel human resource management experienceBachelor's or higher degree in human resources
