Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Help Desk Technician to join our IT team. The Help Desk Technician will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, ensuring the efficient resolution of IT-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to and resolve user inquiries and technical issues via phone, email, and ticketing system.Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems.Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.Provide support for operating systems, productivity software, and other applications.Assist with onboarding and training of new employees on IT systems and tools.Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.Follow up with users to ensure complete resolution of issues.Contribute to the development and documentation of IT support procedures.Stay current with industry trends and best practices in IT support and technology.

Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.Proven experience as a Help Desk Technician or in a similar technical support role.Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.Familiarity with network environments, including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, and DNS.Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Certification in CompTIA A+, Network+, or relevant IT certifications is a plus.
