Hourly Rate: $65.00 - $70.00

Salary: $87,500 - $94,500

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), in collaboration with other members of the IEP team, designs and directs the implementation of Functional Behavior Analysis (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), which are individualized to each student. The BCBA identifies individual goals and interventions. The BCBA primarily provides assessment, program design, training, supervision, and monitoring rather than direct therapy or services to students. The BCBA will participate in building intervention team meetings and may be asked to attend IEPs as needed. The primary purpose of this school Board Certified Behavioral Analyst position is providing behavior-analytic services for pediatric students in a school setting with the goal of helping them reach their maximum performance potential within an educational model of practice.

ResponsibilitiesThe Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a graduate-level certification in behavior analysis. Professionals who are certified at the BCBA level are independent practitioners who provide behavior-analytic services. In addition, BCBAs supervise the work of Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts, Registered Behavior Technicians, and others who implement behavior-analytic interventions. Individuals who hold the BCBA credential should be considered as having met and exceeded standards for the BCaBA and RBT credentials. Individuals who hold the BCaBA credential should be considered as having met and exceeded standards for the RBT credential. However, individuals holding a BACB credential should represent themselves using only the credential(s) awarded to them by the BACB.

• BCBAs must abide by the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.

• BCBAs who wish to provide supervision must complete additional training and continuing education requirements.

QualificationsQualifications and Requirements:

Master's Degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or related field from an accredited institution.

Prior applied behavior analysis experience preferred

Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed in Washington

Completed Nonviolent Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
