Family Law Associate Attorney

We are seeking an Associate Attorney passionate about helping professionals protect their assets, children, and future in a divorce. We are not your typical small law firm. Our entrepreneurial law firm is poised for aggressive growth, and we’re looking for an A Player attorney who can hit the ground running to give clients outstanding representation.Ideal candidates have 5 or more years of experience as lawyers in family law and can demonstrate the ability to learn quickly. Our firm has created efficient processes to streamline workflow so case management is seamless between attorneys and the skilled paralegals who assist.We are looking for a team player to take ownership of a client’s case, including consulting with clients, having direct contact with opposing counsel, drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and handling mediations, conferences, pretrial hearings, and trials. You need to have strong skills in the following areas: research, writing, courtroom presentation, and common technology.Responsibilities:

Manage the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings when needed.Help solve legal problems for clients through analyzing the situation, understanding their needs, and creating a strategic plan of action.Represent clients in court proceedings as needed.Qualifications:

Great negotiation and communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations.Bachelor’s degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are required.Experience at a legal firm working on family law and real estate issues (determining marital property) for at least 1-2 years is required.Compensation:

$100,000 - $175,000 yearly
