Associate Attorney

to join their team. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned

family law attorney

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in family law and be ready to take full ownership of cases from start to finish. This role involves consulting with clients, engaging directly with opposing counsel, drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and representing clients in mediations, conferences, pretrial hearings, and trials. You will also manage the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings when necessary. With streamlined processes and a dedicated team of paralegals, this position offers the opportunity to focus on what you do best—advocating for your clients.

Compensation:$100,000 - $175,000 yearly, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of client cases, providing comprehensive legal representation.Manage the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings.Develop and execute strategic plans to resolve clients' legal issues effectively.Represent clients in court proceedings, advocating on their behalf.Collaborate with colleagues and paralegals to ensure efficient case management and delivery of high-quality legal services.Requirements:Some level of experience practicing family law, with a demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.Strong skills in research, writing, courtroom presentation, and the use of common technology.Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, particularly in high-stress and emotional situations.A Bachelor's degree with a legal background and a J.D. degree.A minimum of 1-2 years of experience at a legal firm working on family law and real estate issues, including the determination of marital property.If you are an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to providing outstanding legal representation, we encourage you to consider this exciting opportunity.
