We're seeking a future team member for the role of Full-Stack Engineer II to join our Fund Accounting Engineering team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA - Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days work from home).

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Write new complex systems (a grouping of programs involving multiple levels of table dimension and internal sorts that accomplishes a particular new function), designs and codes programs and create test transactions. You will also analyzes organizational needs and goals to develop and implement application systems.
  • Provide application software development services or technical support in situations of moderate complexity.
  • Will participate in the full software development life cycle - develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures. Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems. Ensure software is updated with latest features.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms. Provide recommendations for continuous improvement

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • 7+ years of experience of working in services tool sets & programming languages - Java, Spring, Python, MongoDB, Typescript, Angular
  • Experience and understanding of design patterns culminating into microservices development.
  • Experience on working on high throughput microservices by leveraging concurrency, multi-core, multi-node solutions supporting multithreading, event-based processing or on developing services to manage high data volume.
  • Aware of RESTFul standards for building services
  • Uses existing and emerging technology platforms to design, develop and document technically detailed applications.
  • Should enjoy quick prototyping, implementing cloud-ready services, building tools to improve end to end application - develop a strong connect with all stakeholders and testing team
  • Knowledge around microservices architecture leveraging other event driven messaging techniques using technologies like KAFKA or similar.
  • Experience in using a specific application development toolkit and knowledge of backend development coding languages such as Java, Spring, Python, MongoDB. Must also have knowledge in application frameworks and containerization.
