This is an organization known for fostering a collaborative environment where employees can thrive and make a meaningful impact.About the Role:Lead the development of accurate, competitive cost estimates for complex projects exceeding $100 million.Analyze plans, specifications, and drawings to identify material, labor, and equipment costs.Conduct market research and negotiate with subcontractors for best pricing.Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure project profitability.Prepare and present well-documented estimates to internal stakeholders and clients.Conduct market research and negotiations to obtain competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.Identify and assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to control costs and ensure project profitability.Prepare and present clear, concise, and well-documented estimates to internal stakeholders and potential clients.Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates are aligned with project scope, schedule, and design.Qualifications:10+ years of heavy civil construction estimating experience, preferably in highways, bridges, transit and rail.Proven track record of successfully estimating and bidding $100 million+ projects with past successes.Strong understanding of cost estimating principles, methodologies, and software.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred but not essential.Benefits:Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Opportunity to contribute to high-impact infrastructure projects.Collaborative and supportive work environment.Professional development and growth opportunities.To Apply:Submit your resume and cover letter to info@hamiltonmayer.comOur client is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at the company.LocationChicago Salary $150,000 - $165,000 - Excellent Benefits PositionFull TimeReference CodeHMI -98444
