Job Purpose

In partnership with the Human Resources Manager lead all human resources functions for the location in a manner which efficiently meets the needs of the business as well as those of the site employees. Achieve an understanding of the business strategy, goals, and objectives and provide HR-related insights to support business needs. The HR Generalist will lead and support the execution of a variety of HR activities such as employee relations, communication, talent management and talent acquisition. This role will work to ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, policies, standards, procedures, and mandates across the Americas Region.

Principal Accountabilities

Deliver human resource services around compensation, benefits, performance management, policies, compliance, employee relations and employee development.Consult with management team to provide day-to-day HR guidance (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) and identify new HR strategies as needed.Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop HR solutions, programs, and policies.Manage and resolves employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Manage the discipline and termination processes to ensure all are administered in a manner which is fair, ethical and satisfies applicable laws as well as site and corporate policy.Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.Review and maintain a pay plan for wage employees by recommending pay structure and/or revisions.Partner with Talent Management to support and drive workforce and succession planning, performance management, and employee development needsPartner with the Talent Acquisition team and outside staffing agencies to ensure the timely hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for the openings.Conduct new employee onboarding including orientation to foster positive attitude toward organization's objectives.Manage progress of new employees during their first year through 30, 60,90-day check-up process.Manage discipline and termination processes to ensure all are administered in a manner which is fair, ethical and satisfies applicable laws as well as site and corporate policy.Interface with pertinent MCG counterparts as required to aid implementation of corporate directives and projects.Become and stay familiar with personnel policies and procedures system to provide current, relevant guidance to supervision and employees on a variety of site issues.Become and stay familiar with relevant local, state, and federal laws.Direct performance management program to fairly and accurately document employee performance, used in making compensation and employment decisions.Develop and maintain good employee communications/relations to promote positive teamwork attitudes and overall company loyalty.Recommend and manage incentive programs to motivate and retain employees.Direct preparation & revision of job descriptions for all positions and conduct analysis to determine and maintain appropriate salary level internally and externally.Administrator of FMLA, Unemployment and other processes as needed.Performs other related duties as required and assigned.Knowledge / Skills / Experience

Position requires a bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.1-3 years of experience in Human Resources field.SHRM Certification a plus.Efficient at multi-tasking, working independently, staying organized and following-up on tasks to completion.Strong ability to develop and maintain productive working partnerships within the organization across all levels at local site.Strategic partner, able to bring innovative and "out of the box" ideas.Must be able to work independently.Must demonstrate attention to detail.Must possess strong interpersonal skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Expertise in Microsoft Excel and Word required.Experience with ADP and Workday a plus.Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferredTri-lingual in English, Spanish and Vietnamese a plusPay Transparency (complete highlighted sections)

The salary is starting $73,000+. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
