We are at the forefront of today's construction industry growth and have several exciting job opportunities for talented, energized professionals across the region who want to join our #WeAre1KirbySmith family.Territory Manager Benefits Above-average Industry PayComprehensive benefits package (including medical/dental/vision)401K plan with company matchGenerous PTO Package/Paid HolidaysMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance Paid Time Off and VacationShort/Long Term DisabilityGrowth Opportunities Paid TrainingFamily-Owned and OperatedHealth and Wellness Territory Manager Position PurposeResponsible for taking all actions necessary to secure and maintain a market share in an assigned sales territory through proper planning, adequate territorial coverage, and effective sales presentations, through administrative and other assigned duties.Territory Manager Essential FunctionsCommunicates and supports the Kirby Smith vision and core values of One Mission, One Team, One Plan, One GoalObtains and maintains an elevated level of understanding of marketing and finance programs and prepares quotations outlining features, benefits, and any available financing programsAchieves and maintains excellent product knowledge through sales schools and self-studyDevelops and continues to improve interpersonal and sales skills through schools and self-studyEstablishes and maintains personal relationships with customers, determines customer needs and the best way to satisfy those needsStudies and maintains knowledge of competition's machines, finance, and marketing programsActs as Liaison between Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc and customers in all aspects of customer relationsFollows up to ensure that all aspects of sales and rental transactions are correct and completed on timeCompletes all required paperwork correctly and on timeEnsures that all contracts and transactions are conducted in an ethical and professional mannerIdentifies, profiles, and prospects the territory; develops and enlarges the customer base in the territoryMaintains communications and advises management of all changes in the territoryPerforms other job-related duties as assignedTerritory Manager Minimum Qualifications High School Education or Equivalent with post-secondary education preferredThree (3) years of construction equipment sales experienceExcellent interpersonal skills and adapts quickly to changing priorities and customer needsProficient with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and various web-based applicationsTerritory Manager Physical RequirementsPushing/Pulling/Lifting/Carrying up to 50 pounds without assistancePhysical ability to squat, twist, turn, bend, stoop, climb, and reach overheadMust be able to work in extreme heat or cold and wet, damp, dusty, or windy conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises, hazardous materials, and fumes/odorsPhysical ability to perform work for extended hours Ability to adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) policy and maintain individual PPEThis is considered a Safety-Sensitive position.
