If so, let's start the conversation.Position Summary:This position is a Senior Director-level position reporting to the Vice President of Global Safety, Risk & Security (GSRS). The Senior Director is a strategic leader responsible for identifying and mitigating risks for the organization through an appropriate risk management strategy that aligns with Iron Mountain's financial objectives, core values, and culture.Key Responsibilities:Direct the purchase/renewal of insurance policies and claims management.Manage third-party service providers including brokers, insurers, and TPAs.Prepare loss analyses and budgets, identify exposures, recommend solutions, and implement approved programs.Promote loss prevention and update compliance with insurance procedures.Manage risk management manuals and processes.Achieve strategic objectives and ensure effective insurance risk management across all business units.Own the process of identifying, measuring, and managing insurable risks.Develop reports and plans, and analyze risk/insurance problems.Mitigate financial impact during crisis events leveraging the organization’s insurance portfolio.Global Insurance Renewal:Lead strategy and outcomes for global insurance renewals in collaboration with Finance & Accounting.Direct annual global renewal activities and oversee renewal strategy and schedule.Negotiate all insurance and claims management terms and conditions.Responsible for all phases of risk budgeting and maintain global insurance compliance.Claims Management and Oversight:Mitigate organization's exposure to risk by formulating, developing, and coordinating all claims-related activities.Direct a program to ensure the proper handling of claims and gather data for forecasting purposes.Monitor and evolve claims litigation management program.Manage accountabilities in the administration of first and third party worker's compensation claims.Ensure success of litigation management program and manage complex claims with significant settlement authority.Crisis Management:Work with key stakeholders to support events and provide insurance-related guidance.Report events to carriers/tpa/brokers and liaise with adjusters.Disclaimer:
