The Department of Pathology & Microbiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center invites applications for a faculty position in anatomic pathology with subspecialty training and expertise in gastrointestinal (GI) and liver pathology. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience and candidates with clinical and academic administrative experience are encouraged to apply. Candidates with research interest in GI, liver and/or other anatomic pathology-specific areas will be given priority. The successful candidate will hold an M.D., M.D./Ph.D., D.O., or equivalent degree with board certification and subspecialty training and experience. The department is a rapidly growing academic practice with highly competitive compensation and opportunities for administrative responsibilities such as taking on a key role in developing our digital pathology and pathology informatics capabilities.
