The Civil Litigation Defense Attorney will be responsible for handling a caseload from inception through trial in a fast-paced litigation environment. Effective communication skills, membership in the Florida Bar, and the ability to thrive under pressure are essential for success in this role.Duties:Manage a caseload of civil litigation defense matters, including legal research, case analysis, and strategy development.Conduct depositions, mediations, and court appearances as required.Collaborate with clients and colleagues to provide effective legal counsel and representation.Draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, and briefs.Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to civil litigation defense.Requirements:A minimum of 2-7 years of experience in first or third-party litigation.Defense experience is preferred.Membership in the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission shortly.Excellent and effective communication skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced litigation environment.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Detail-oriented and analytical mindset.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission shortly.Skills:Legal research and analysis.Case management and organization.Deposition and mediation experience.Strong oral and written communication.Team collaboration.Time management and multitasking.
