Review sample of commercial loans of financial institutions to ensure acceptable credit standards are maintained and loans conform to established company policy and applicable regulatory requirements.Examination of credit risks within commercial loans and mortgages and the appropriateness of risk grades for the loans reviewed.Review documentation relating to origination and renewals, collateral, insurance, flood certification(s), etc.Document compliance with loan policies, lending procedures and applicable regulations with the application.Document observations and deviations to be discussed with the client.Conduct activities consistent with established banking policies, procedures and systems, Bank Secrecy Act and all applicable State and Federal laws and regulations.Use experience and research skills to think beyond the policy and assist on complex deals to act reasonably and rationally in favor of customer as well as the financial institution.Apply lending/credit policy, product and Mortgage loan guidelines, and a high level of judgment, in assessing applicant's credit worthiness.Provide guidance, coaching and feedback to Consultants and serve as the first point of contact for their questions.Travel to client locations within the U.S. is required, 10% - 20%.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.7+ years of experience in loan review, credit examination, or related area.Working knowledge of commercial lending, agricultural lending, real estate development and construction lending, and the required collateral documents.Exceptional understanding of regulatory policies and financial risk management.Knowledge of the latest financial regulations and compliance standards.Ability to effectively communicate to management any weaknesses in loan administration or other matters requiring attention.Wipfli is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer. The estimated pay range for this position is: $79,000 to $132,000. Compensation within the range is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, individuals' skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business needs and applicable employment laws.Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.Wipfli cares about our associates and offers a variety of benefits to support their well-being.
