We have partnered exclusively with an international consumer business to recruit their next Group Financial Controller. The role will report directly to the CFO and oversee a team of 12 covering Financial/Management Accounts, Tax, Treasury and transactional support.The business has an aggressive growth strategy in place which will see turnover increase to c£250m in the next 2 years. Due to this planned growth, you will play an integral part in shaping the future of the finance function with your hands-on approach and motivational leadership style. The business is in the process of implementing a new ERP system, so strong systems experience would be beneficial.Responsibilities:
Responsibility for annual statutory accounts and monthly management accountsIdentify, implement and maintain effective financial control systems and maintain KPI performance monitoring, ad-hoc analysis and continuous improvement of processes.Deliver improved financial performance as measured by sales, margin, profit, profitability, cash-flow and return on investment.Leading and developing direct reports ensuring the highest standards of performanceSupport the CFO in the management of FX exposure and hedgingTo take a supporting role to the CFO in the development and maintenance of the relationship with the Group’s stakeholders.The role is ideally suited to a Practice trained ACA who has 5+ years of experience in an international reporting or controlling position. You will be technically strong but also comfortable operating in a business-facing capacity and liaising closely with external stakeholders.On offer is a very competitive salary, Car Allowance/Company Car, Bonus Potential and Private Healthcare.Job Types:
